Alex McMillan is a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at Davidson Kempner. He joined the Firm in 2024 and is based in the New York office.

Before joining Davidson Kempner, Mr. McMillan was a Managing Director, Chief Regulatory Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Benefit Street Partners. He has previously held various legal and compliance positions at Loeb Capital Management, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Citigroup Inc., among other companies and regulatory authorities.

Mr. McMillan received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College, and his Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University.
